About Foid Foundation
FOID Foundation is an on-chain gallery for internet memes and culture. It takes the fleeting jokes that bounce through group chats and timelines, the ones that define our circles in a given moment, and gives them a home, preserving the texture of online life before it disappears. FOID Foundation has three parts: FOID Mommy — a daily onchain "prayer terminal" that logs your streak and influences your voting weight; FOID Loreboard — a single evolving vision board where the community proposes and votes on memes; MiFOIDs — avatar NFTs generated from your onchain activity that determine access, identity, and governance power inside the FOID universe.
FOID Mommy
AI-powered “prayer terminal” where users type how they’re feeling and receive a personalized prayer from FOID Mommy. Each interaction is hashed and written on-chain. Your prayer streak boosts your voting power on Loreboard meme proposals—and, in season 0, influences your MiFOID’s boob size.
FOID Loreboard
A collective on-chain vision board where the community proposes and votes on memes and cultural artifacts. Each accepted tile lands like a note taped to a wall, forming a single Loreboard that expands across space and time. It becomes a cultural gallery—a record of which memes mattered enough to canonize, and a way to revisit what the FOID community was thinking and laughing about at any moment in its history.
MiFOIDs
MiFOIDs are avatar NFTs that represent your FOID. Your prayer streaks and Loreboard participation during pre-season shape how your MiFOID is generated, while non-participants receive a default avatar. Once minted, MiFOIDs are static, but they carry on-chain provenance such as transfer count (“body count”), which gates access to different social layers (e.g., virgin MiFOIDs with zero transfers unlock inner-circle virgin chats). Each MiFOID becomes a visual imprint of your ritual and governance history—a persistent FOID body that reflects the life you’ve lived on-chain.
Experimental governance & futarchy around memes
FOID experiments with governance that matches internet culture: a hybrid of on-chain voting and prediction markets. MiFOID holders and active devotees (via FOID Mommy streaks) vote on which memes get canonized, while anyone can speculate in parallel prediction markets on which proposals will pass. Over time, FOID will explore models where a meme needs both sufficient votes and sufficient “market belief” to enter the canon—and will track a FOID Vibe Index to measure how alive the culture is each epoch.
